Insafe International Ltd is a reputable company seeking an experienced locksmith and safe engineer to join our team in South East England.

Job Description

This role requires a skilled individual to perform various tasks, including lock-fitting, cylinder changes, pinning, key cutting, code changes to coded door locks, and safe opening and repair. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of locksmithing and safe engineering, with experience in handling mechanical and electronic systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repairs to existing equipment, including safes, and installing electronic safe locks. They will also be required to program electronic safe locks, change batteries, and provide excellent customer service.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The ability to travel up to 2 hours from home is essential, and a valid UK driving license is required.

Requirements
  • Experience in safe opening and repair, as well as locksmithing.
  • A reasonable level of IT literacy, as we use a mobile platform for allocating jobs and reporting.
  • Ability to work on one's own while performing remote site visits.
  • A reasonable degree of physical fitness, as the role can be physically demanding at times.
  • A full valid UK driving license.
  • No criminal record, as CRB checks will be applied.
Benefits
  • A standard week of 42.5 hours, plus overtime (where available) and On-Call rota (one 7-day period per month).
  • Holidays of 20 days per annum, rising to 25 days.
  • A salary that is subject to experience and ability, estimated at £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
