About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Lawyer to join our team at Deutsche Bank. As a key member of our Global Emerging Markets and Global Financing and Credit Trading businesses, you will play a critical role in providing legal advice and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide robust legal advice to our clients on all aspects of their transactions, from structuring and design to completion and lifecycle events.
  • Advising on reputational risk and regulatory change that may impact our business.
  • Instructing and managing external counsel to ensure effective and cost-efficient legal support.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex legal and commercial issues, including defaults, restructurings, disputes, and materialization of risk.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of finance and other documentation.
Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer with good post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge in banking and finance, with a willingness to tackle new products and stay up-to-date with current regulatory regimes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
