The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for covering teacher absences and managing classrooms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and engage students.
- Maintain discipline and provide feedback to teachers.
- Support students with their learning needs.
- Ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
- Patience and a positive attitude toward supporting students.
- Flexibility to work on short notice when required.
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.
