Cable Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cat6 Cabling Engineer to join our team at LA International Computer Consultants Ltd. As a Cat6 Cabling Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, termination, and testing of voice, CAT6, and fibre cables.
Key Responsibilities:- Install comms cables, including CAT6, Voice, and Fibre multicore.
- Install various types of containment, such as tray and basket systems.
- Terminate CAT6 panels and outlets.
- Terminate multicore Fibre using a splicer, with experience in Fujikura 60s/70S or similar preferred.
- Test copper and fibre cables using Fluke DSX and OTDR, with preference for experience.
- Patch CAT6 and fibre cables.
- Fault find and resolve issues.
A CSCS or ECS qualification is required for this position. You will work on a shift pattern covering days and nights, with a requirement to be onsite 5 days per week. The initial contract is for 6 months.
