Job Title: Quality Calibration Specialist

Omega Leeds is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Calibration Specialist to join our team in Greater Manchester. As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering & Laboratory department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
  • Plan and schedule service and calibration engineering
  • Maintain accurate inventory of instruments, consumables, and spare parts
  • Liaise with outside contractors and vendors for equipment repairs or contract maintenance
  • Update equipment assets in the electronic data management system
Requirements:
  • A' Level, TEC, or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline
  • Experience in calibration and/or maintenance support for a manufacturing company
  • Understanding of technical metrology requirements and calibration specifications
  • Good planning skills and proficiency with systems and data

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £15.00
  • A 12-18 month ongoing contract with possible permanent opportunities
  • Negotiable hourly or day rate based on candidate expectations
