Staffline Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Quality Calibration Officer to join our team in Greater Manchester.
This is a 12-18 month ongoing contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a negotiable hourly or day rate based on the candidate's expectations.
The successful candidate will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering & Laboratory team, providing calibration and metrology support to our clients in the medical health & Life Sciences manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision in measurements.
- Manage inventory of instruments, consumables, and spare parts, working closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure up-to-date records and databases.
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors for equipment repairs or contract maintenance.
- Update and maintain equipment assets in the electronic data management system, including maintenance and calibration events.
- A' Level, TEC, or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
- Experience in calibration and/or maintenance support for a manufacturing company, with demonstrated skills in writing complex calibration SOPs and technical operating procedures.
- Understanding of technical metrology requirements, assisting calibration specifications, coordinating, and monitoring new equipment.
- Demonstrable experience working in a cGMP environment to ISO or FDA regulatory standards is desirable.
- Good planning skills to produce project timelines, good with systems and data.
