Field Monitoring Technician
SOCOTEC UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled Field Monitoring Technician to join our team in the Midlands. As a Field Monitoring Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out water sampling and monitoring activities on the Rail Infrastructure, including microbiological water sampling, Legionella flushing, temperature monitoring, and compliance inspections.
This role requires a strong understanding of water monitoring activities and associated legislation, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. You will also need to be self-motivated and able to work independently, with a valid driving license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
A competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus valuable benefits, including 25 days holiday and an electric car scheme, make this an attractive opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in water hygiene.

Your Key Responsibilities
As a Field Monitoring Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Carrying out water sampling and monitoring activities on the Rail Infrastructure.
  • Microbiological water sampling, Legionella flushing, temperature monitoring, and compliance inspections.
  • Document site observations and liaise with contractors and clients on site.
  • Develop and implement effective sampling strategies to meet client requirements.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure smooth project delivery and exceptional customer service.
