About the Role:
We are seeking an English and Maths Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching.
Job Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on the lives of disengaged, at-risk young people by providing 1:1 tuition in English and Maths. As a tutor, you will deliver bespoke learning packages that cater to the individual needs of your students.
Key Responsibilities:
- To plan and deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition sessions in English and Maths to secondary-aged students.
- To assess and track student progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as needed.
- To maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any concerns.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of English and Maths curriculum and pedagogy.
- Ability to work with students who may have additional needs or be disengaged from education.
