Climax Studios is seeking a highly skilled Lead Artist to join our team in Liverpool. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for creating innovative visual experiences for AAA titles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceive, create, and lead the team in creating artistic visuals for AAA titles.
  • Develop and implement solid art production pathways.
  • Manage art teams effectively and in a timely fashion.
  • Find creative solutions when troubleshooting and assessing risks.
  • Implement cutting-edge artistic techniques and tools into current practical practices.

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in console development with at least 2 shipped titles and one as a Lead Artist.
  • Effective visual and verbal communication skills when directing internal or external teams or individuals.
  • Excellent resource management and judgement whilst assigning artists of varying skill sets to the numerous projects in the studio.
  • Comfortable liaising with and presenting to clients in an authoritative and professional manner.
  • A self-motivated team-leader who is outgoing, friendly, gregarious with attention to detail and a passion for delivering the best possible game experience.
  • Autonomous in the respect of managing deadlines & budgets, with excellent time management skills.
