About the Role

Climax Studios, a leading creative force in independent games development, is seeking an experienced and multi-talented Lead Artist to join our team. As a key member of our studio, you will be responsible for conceiving, creating, and leading the team in producing innovative artistic visuals for AAA titles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement artistic visions for AAA titles, working closely with internal and external teams.
  • Lead and manage a team of artists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality art assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of art and design elements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, applying knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in art production.
  • Manage budgets and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of art assets while maintaining high standards of quality.
Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of experience in console development, with a proven track record of shipping titles as a Lead Artist.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to direct internal and external teams.
  • Excellent resource management and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and stakeholders, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A self-motivated team leader with a passion for delivering exceptional game experiences.
