About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Randstad Tech IT. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform repairs as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
Requirements
  • Several years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food production industry
  • Hold a Level 3 NVQ or above in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Confident working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, motors, rollers, gearboxes, fabrication repairs, and fitting new parts
  • Competent fault finding and repairing on a range of equipment
  • Ambitious, enthusiastic, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
