About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join our team as a Special Education Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with special educational needs (SEN) and a commitment to providing high-quality education and support.


Main Responsibilities

  • Lead a class of up to 14 students with varying SEN, working collaboratively with therapists and other support staff to develop individualized education plans.
  • Use your expertise to create engaging and inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Work closely with our integrated therapy team to ensure a holistic approach to education and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to SEN.
  • Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher with experience working with individuals with SEN.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in SEN education.
