Special Education Teacher

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join our team as a Special Education Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with special educational needs (SEN) and a commitment to providing high-quality education and support.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead a class of up to 14 students with varying SEN, working collaboratively with therapists and other support staff to develop individualized education plans.
- Use your expertise to create engaging and inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Work closely with our integrated therapy team to ensure a holistic approach to education and support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to SEN.
- Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
- Qualified teacher with experience working with individuals with SEN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments, with a focus on student outcomes and progress.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in SEN education.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of our students.
