Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Operations Manager in maximizing the performance of the operations by directing daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
  • Assist in providing leadership, motivation, training, and development of the workforce.
  • Execute against customer requirements and manage remote teams where necessary.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure effective working relationships.
  • Ensure operational compliance, including health and safety.
  • Monitor and analyze operational and financial performance data to identify service efficiencies and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of drivers' hours, tachograph, and WTD legislation.
  • Knowledge of health and safety.
  • Able to manage, motivate, and develop people.
  • Budget management.
  • Project management.
  • KPI development and measurement.
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use and understand computerized systems, including TMS and WMS systems.
