We are seeking a skilled and passionate English Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students in East London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of diverse students.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their English skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching approach.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of student performance.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification with QTS status).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification is necessary.
  • Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level, preferably in a diverse urban setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for English and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective classroom management skills and the ability to establish a positive learning environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
