About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students, promoting a love of reading and writing, and helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and assessment practices to ensure students receive the best possible education.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field, with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level, preferably in a diverse urban setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for English and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
