Permanent Site Manager Role

Caval Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Site Manager to join their team. As a Permanent Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of various NHS refurbishment projects across the UK.

About the Role

This is a permanent opportunity with a salary of around £50k plus package, including all expenses paid. The successful candidate will be based in Yorkshire or the North West and will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of projects to a high standard of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health & Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Contracts Manager on project progress.
  • Material Management: Order and manage materials and equipment as required.
  • Site Diaries: Maintain accurate and up-to-date site diaries and records.
  • Inductions and Toolbox Talks: Conduct inductions and toolbox talks for site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Site Discipline: Participate in site discipline meetings and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Labour Management: Manage on-site labour, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of projects.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time, and to budget.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • SMSTS qualification.
  • CSCS qualification.
  • First Aid certification.
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Site Manager.
  • A healthy track record of delivering refurbishment projects.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Strong working knowledge of the construction industry.
