We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Medicines Optimisation Team at NHS Suffolk and North East Essex ICB. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of medicines optimisation initiatives in primary care.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of medicines optimisation projects across West Suffolk and SNEE.
- Work closely with GP practices and Primary Care Networks to promote safe, evidence-based, and cost-effective prescribing practices.
- Provide timely and accurate benchmarking and prescribing performance data to support practices in managing their prescribing budgets.
- Analyse prescribing data to identify areas for improvement in safety, quality, and cost-effective prescribing.
- Actively participate in public-facing events to represent the Medicines Optimisation team.
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
NHS Suffolk and North East Essex ICB plans and buys healthcare services for our population. We work within a budget set by NHS England and closely with local government and NHS providers. Our performance is judged by how well our local health and care system is working, including the health outcomes of our communities.
