Operations Coordinator

As an Operations Coordinator at The Pallet Network (TPN), you will play a vital role in supporting the TPN operations team by providing assistance and guidance to members of the network, ensuring that all procedures and rules are followed, and protecting the company's interests.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all Partners.
- Maintain open communication and collaboration with all departments.
- Respond to Partner requests via telephone and email, where necessary.
- Mediate disputes between Partners, ensuring actions are taken in accordance with the TPN operation manual.
- Assist members in arranging overspill vehicles and couriers, as required.
- Perform various administrative tasks.
- Address problems promptly, exploring all options before organizing couriers.
- Update the hub information board with relevant comments concerning the day's operation.
- Ensure the handover from the Night Manager is completed and compile a handover for the Night Shift, highlighting relevant points.
- Mediate disputes between Partners, ensuring actions are taken in accordance with the network's rules.
- Refer unresolved or escalated problems to the Team Leader/Line Manager.
- Raise company Purchase Orders when necessary.
- Inform the Operations Manager of any situations that may impact the company adversely.
- Maintain good working relationships with all Partners and colleagues, ensuring fair and unbiased interactions.
- Ensure concise and understood handovers between day and night shifts.
- Proficient in Microsoft packages and ability to learn bespoke systems.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of customer service skills.
- Ability to investigate and problem-solve.
