We are seeking an experienced Town Planner to join our growing team at Carrington West. As a key member of our planning consultancy, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications, conducting site appraisals and feasibility studies, and preparing planning reports and supporting documents. You will also liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, and support senior planners with research and the planning application process. To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in Town Planning or a related field, and membership or working towards membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is preferred. You will also have some experience in planning, within a consultancy or local authority, and good understanding of the UK planning system. If you are a proactive and eager to learn individual with strong report writing and analytical skills, and effective communication and interpersonal skills, we would like to hear from you. You will also need to have a full UK driving licence and access to a car. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a supportive and dynamic environment, working on a variety of planning projects on the outskirts of London.
