Senior Culinary Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Thomas Franks Ltd.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at Head Chef level, ideally within contract catering or independent education.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate, monitor and control Food Production and Service Production to ensure food is produced and presented to the highest possible standards.
• Ensure adherence to Thomas Franks Fresh Food standards, using local, sustainably sourced and in-season produce.
• Plan and devise menus for nutritional value, making use of current food styles and customer expectations.
• Manage the front of house team and bar.
• Promptly serve all meals and service to company/client standards.
• Maintain production, storage and service areas and equipment in a hygienic and clean condition.
• Educate subordinate staff on health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Pre-empt delays in customer waiting and assist with menu planning, rotas and orders.
• Operate in line with current health & safety regulations.
• Attend meetings and training courses as required.

Requirements:

• Team working abilities, listening skills, initiative, personal presentation, hygiene and behaviour.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible as necessary.
• Good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment essential.

Benefits:

This role offers a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
