Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Deal, Kent

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in Deal. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment, and supporting students with their learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning and ensure work is completed.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Liaise with teaching staff and report back on student progress.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for working with young people and a flexible approach to work.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and possess a DBS (or be willing to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
