Job Title: Adult Care Solicitor

Job Type: Full-time, Locum

About the Role:

We are currently working with a Local Authority in the North-West, who are recruiting for a locum Adult Social Care Lawyer to support their busy team. The position is due to start immediately and the hourly rate is circa £50 - £60 p/hour, but is negotiable based on PQE and candidate expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting in court of protection matters
  • Preparing and representing the organisation in court of protection matters
  • Advising on all aspects of adult safeguarding law
  • Advising on plans and assessments for vulnerable adults
  • Advising on the duties of the organisation under the Care Act

Requirements:

  • Strong Adult Social Care experience
  • Relevant Professional Qualification – Solicitor, Barrister, FCILEX

Working Hours:

37 hours per week, Monday – Friday

What We Offer:

Competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on PQE and candidate expectations
