Job Summary:

The Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Site Services Manager to join our Estates and Facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational management for all aspects of site management within the buildings managed by the Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Site Management: Produce and implement site management systems, including operational and safety procedures.
  2. Service Delivery: Monitor standards of service delivery for compliance - ranging from statutory and contractual requirements and service provision.
  3. Environment and Safety: Lead locally on environment and safety inspections and risk assessments.
  4. Project Management: Lead and project manage locally any refurbishments and/or changes to building use.
  5. Liaison and Communication: Liaise with and monitor service providers.
  6. Emergency Response: Manage site/building emergencies and/or provide advice to managers.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Representation: Represent the Trust in project steering groups to identify and review future service provision of Estates and Facilities contracts, review tender returns as required and contribute to the appointment of new service providers.
  2. Quality and Safety: Consider aspects of patient and staff safety and the quality of experience throughout the sites.

Working Relationships:

The successful applicant will work closely with the Service Manager, other local managers, senior site team, various departments at Trust Headquarters, and external agencies to ensure the effective management of site-related services.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in site management, facilities operations, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of health and safety regulations, fire safety procedures, and environmental management.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, patients, and external partners.
