INEOS, a leading global manufacturer of chemicals and energy products, seeks an experienced professional to lead its Raw Materials Market Analysis team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for driving strategic decision-making through accurate forecasting and budgeting of raw materials costs.

Job Description:

This role involves modeling future vehicle cost through precise forecast and budget of raw materials. You will design, develop, and establish robust raw materials management processes that foster cross-functional collaboration, regular forecasting and budgeting, and necessary advice. Additionally, you will investigate ways to automate the raw materials management process, embed artificial intelligence, and continuously improve processes. Your expertise will also be utilized in prospecting, engaging, and forging progressive partnerships with the Procurement team and external partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you will need 5-8 years' experience gained at either a Tier 1/2 automotive supplier or automotive OEM. Alternatively, experience gained in a similar industry such as aerospace, heavy agricultural machinery, heavy industry, commodity brokers is desirable. A degree in Engineering or Economics is highly valued. Significant experience in tracking raw materials and/or forecasting trends is essential. Proven track record in interpreting data, extracting key information, and ensuring data accuracy, relevance, and up-to-dateness is mandatory. Accurately interpreting unusual movements in trend curves and explaining their impact on vehicle components, costs, availability, and viability is crucial. Excellent planning and analytical skills combined with entrepreneurial outlook and ability to identify solutions to emerging problems are required. Strong project management skills, a track record of delivery, and ability to demonstrate experiences in building and maintaining cross-functional relationships are necessary. Independent, target-oriented, and structured approach to tasks, prioritizing tasks, and effective time management are also essential. Good capability with Microsoft Office software and experience with SAP and planning & reporting software and tools is beneficial but not essential. International travel may be required depending on the dynamics of the role. English language is mandatory, and German would be beneficial but not essential. We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of INEOS.
