Reporting to the Project Manager within the Operations division, this role is ideal for a resourceful, detail-oriented, and driven individual eager to apply their technical and project management skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Organize or review Lift Plans and conduct daily risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  • Issue permits for high-risk activities (e.g., excavation, working at height) to ensure site safety.
  • Monitor safety compliance on-site and witness critical inspections and tests to ensure quality control.
  • Complete Non-Conformance Reports and maintain snagging lists to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare site diaries and document daily progress with photos to track project milestones.
  • Ensure site restoration meets required standards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience in construction or energy industries, with strong civil engineering knowledge and a solid understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Engineering qualification (HND or degree level preferred, but not essential) and high computer literacy to work independently and efficiently.
  • A valid driving license is essential for site visits and travel.
