Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Organize or review Lift Plans and conduct daily risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Issue permits for high-risk activities (e.g., excavation, working at height) to ensure site safety.
- Monitor safety compliance on-site and witness critical inspections and tests to ensure quality control.
- Complete Non-Conformance Reports and maintain snagging lists to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare site diaries and document daily progress with photos to track project milestones.
- Ensure site restoration meets required standards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in construction or energy industries, with strong civil engineering knowledge and a solid understanding of project management principles.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Engineering qualification (HND or degree level preferred, but not essential) and high computer literacy to work independently and efficiently.
- A valid driving license is essential for site visits and travel.
