Construction Quantity Management Specialist

• Developing and delivering construction project applications to main contractors and managing certificates to sub-contractors.
• Obtaining quotations, processing orders, estimating quantities, costs, and time scales for material and labour, and assigning work to sub-contractors.
• Valuing completed work, managing budgets, overseeing payments, submitting regular budget reports, and conducting on-going cost analysis.
• Identifying and weighing up commercial risks, ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards, and attending site visits.
• Providing support to the Commercial Manager with expertise in numerical and data analysis skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and a practical, logical, and methodical approach to work.
• Requirements:
• Full manual driving licence.
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, an RICS-approved Degree or HNC / Equivalent experience in a job, and strong Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and project management skills, and the ability to convey complex information in a simple way to a diverse range of people.
