The Barcellos Family Practice is seeking a skilled Clinical Administrative Support Specialist to provide exceptional support to our practice manager, doctors, and health professionals. This part-time role (20-25 hours per week) will involve providing general secretarial support, involving word processing and typing skills with general clerical work over two sites.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently copy type and process documents, make appointments, and retrieve medical records. You will also be responsible for receiving incoming calls, initiating outgoing communications, and dealing with queries in a timely and appropriate manner.

We are offering an estimated annual salary of $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience. As a valued member of our team, you will also enjoy benefits such as company pension and free parking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently copy type and process documents, including letters, reports, and patient referrals
  • Make Choose and Book requests for appointments and bookings as required
  • R Retrieve medical records and assist in the completion of medical/insurance records
  • Receive incoming and initiate outgoing telephone calls to facilitate timely and appropriate communications
  • Action all Subject Access Requests and medical reports
  • Process C signs dashboard

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in secretarial studies or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar administrative role
  • Excellent typing and word processing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
