The Barcellos Family Practice is looking for a skilled Healthcare Secretary - Clinical Support to join our team. This part-time role (20-25 hours per week) will involve providing administrative support to our practice manager, doctors, and health professionals, with a focus on ensuring seamless clinical operations.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritize duties, and maintain confidentiality. You will also be responsible for receiving incoming calls, initiating outgoing communications, and dealing with queries in a timely and appropriate manner.
We are offering an estimated annual salary of $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience. As a valued member of our team, you will also enjoy benefits such as company pension and free parking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to ensure seamless clinical operations
- Efficiently copy type and process documents, including letters, reports, and patient referrals
- Make Choose and Book requests for appointments and bookings as required
- Retrieve medical records and assist in the completion of medical/insurance records
- Action all Subject Access Requests and medical reports
- Process C signs dashboard
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in secretarial studies or a related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar administrative role
- Excellent typing and word processing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
