Job Title: Site Manager - Domestic Projects

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at a prestigious landscape business. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating, directing, and supervising directly employed and subcontracted labour to ensure that landscape construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and supervise directly employed and subcontracted staff to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Manage and allocate resources, including plant, equipment, vehicles, and materials, to meet project requirements.
  3. Support the Contract Manager(s) on a wide range of landscape projects, adhering to our Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
  4. Conduct safety and quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance and excellence.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and project management.
  6. Pricing work and completing site inspections to maintain site records.
  7. Drive team performance and motivate staff to achieve high standards.
  8. Mentor and coach staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  9. Develop and implement programmes and schedules of work to meet project deadlines.
  10. Identify and pursue business development opportunities to drive additional works.

Requirements:

  1. Practical experience within the landscape construction industry.
  2. Supervisory experience, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  3. SSSTS (minimum) and SMSTS (desirable) certifications.
  4. Appropriate CSCS/CPCS competency qualifications.
