Job Title: Site Manager

Join Mears Group as a Site Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of site staff, including subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality assurance standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor and control costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement site-specific plans and procedures to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in construction site management, preferably in the social housing sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • SMSTS qualification or equivalent experience.
