Job Summary:

NJR Recruitment is seeking an ambitious and organized individual to join their supply chain team as an Assistant Supply Chain Planner. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a relevant placement year or someone looking to progress from a supply chain administration role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the inbound supply chain department and effectively manage day-to-day administration activities.
  • Manage smaller customer and supplier accounts.
  • Responsibility for O&Q line management, including ordering and receipting.
  • N&P line order book management.
  • General order book management for the wider team.
  • Lost order input.
  • Conduct supplier audits to gather information on lead times, MOQ, pallet, and layer quantities.
  • Assist the planning team and provide holiday and sickness cover as required.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and projects.
  • Data analysis as required.
  • Provide imports holiday cover.

Requirements:

  • Some experience in a supply chain function.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fully computer literate.
  • A flexible approach to work and high organizational skills.
