Account Controller - Supply Chain

Building Careers UK is seeking an experienced Account Controller to join their team in a Supply Chain role. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for migrating from Sage Line 50 to Xero, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Migrate from Sage Line 50 to Xero, ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining accurate financial records.
  2. Manage general accounting tasks, including AR, AP, GL, and Payroll, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Develop and implement financial processes to improve the company's financial management and control.
  4. Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions, ensuring the company's financial health and growth.
  5. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in accounting and financial management, with a focus on supply chain and logistics.
  2. Strong technical skills in accounting software, including Xero and Sage Line 50.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
