Mental Health Specialist

Salary: £36 per hour, ensuring our social workers receive fair compensation for their expertise and dedication.
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Senior Social Worker to join our Mental Health Team in London Borough of Bexley. This role involves working with individuals diagnosed with Psychosis or Bipolar Affective Disorder, focusing on assessment, engagement, relapse prevention, self-management, and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Conduct assessments and develop care plans to optimize service users' ability to live independently
- • Provide intensive case management to individuals with complex mental health needs
- • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
- • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
- • Participate in the Bexley-wide AMHP rota or undergo training
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be considered, you must have a social work qualification, full SWE registration, and over 3 years of post-qualified experience in Adults Services settings. AMHP experience is preferred.
