Supply Planner Opportunity at Finsbury Food Group

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain Team at Finsbury Food Group, a leading speciality bakery manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce and publish production plans for the Ultrapharm site, balancing efficient production with customer demand.
  • Manage and maintain planning data and system parameters, reviewing demand from customers and adjusting production plans accordingly.
  • Upload daily customer orders and advise on any concerns over unusual or erroneous order patterns.
  • Maintain finished good inventory to achieve customer service levels of 98.5% or better, while minimizing write-offs due to short product life.
  • Manage seasonal events in line with business needs and attend regular production review meetings as required.
  • Provide data and highlight concerns on planning and production parameters, such as yield and efficiency analysis.
  • Review and react to changes in customer priorities and highlight where minimum production runs exceed forecasted sales volume for the required shelf life.
  • Manage delist process of products to ensure minimum stock write-offs.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced and challenging environment is desirable.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements.
  • Experience of working to set targets and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Desire to improve ways of working, share new ideas, and understand LEAN Manufacturing and continuous improvements.
  • Proficiency in using email, Microsoft Outlook, and ERP systems.
  • Confident communication skills and ability to represent Finsbury Food Group to external stakeholders.
