Job Title: Domestic Assistant

Excelcare Holdings is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at our care home in Cambridge. As a key member of our Housekeeping Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and ensuring the care home is safe, comfortable, and welcoming for our residents.

As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times. You will also undertake deep cleans as required, including floors, soft furnishings, fixtures, fittings, windows, and walls. Additionally, you will dispose of rubbish, report any equipment failure or maintenance issues, and comply with COSHH and Infection Control Regulations.

We are looking for someone with a kind and compassionate approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. If you have previous experience in a cleaner or domestic role, that is desirable but not essential. We offer a competitive salary, 28 days' holiday, free on-site parking, and a comprehensive induction program.
