About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Provision Staff Member to join our team at GSL Education in Southampton.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a school that provides a range of support services for students with special educational needs. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed.

The successful candidate will have experience in teaching, sports coaching, nursing, or support work, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in supporting student learning and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and managing classrooms
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans for students
  • Working closely with teachers to monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field
  • An enhanced DBS check and ability to register with the update service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience working with children with special educational needs
