Production Engineering Specialist

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Production Engineering Specialist to join our team at Systems Engineering & Assessment (SEA) in Barnstaple. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing efficient production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and equipment designs
- Provide input to new and legacy projects, including equipment selection and layout design
- Optimise production processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Requirements:
- Previous experience in low volume / high variety manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
- Ability to read and interpret designs, with CAD software familiarity desirable
