Job Overview

We are seeking a Client Associate to provide support to the Consultant Relations team at Neuberger Berman. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a wide range of skills as the team continues to build the business with a focus on UK/EMEA investment consulting firms.

The Client Associate will provide on-going support to senior relationship managers in the field, to further relationship management capacity and meet consultants' specific needs. The role involves representing the entire Neuberger Berman product suite, with strategies across Equities, Fixed Income, and Alternatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the local team in their day-to-day client activity and strategic initiatives
  • Providing essential support to the Consultant Relations team, including database management, maintaining the CRM system, producing pipeline activity, and meeting notes
  • Liaising and collaborating with colleagues in Portfolio Management, Client Service, Marketing, and Compliance teams for client deliverables
  • Organising business development activity, including presentations and request for proposals, ensuring all activity follows the regulatory framework
  • Conducting market research, consultant updates, and assisting the team on appropriate business strategies and client analysis
  • Organising and proactively supporting consultant events and marketing collateral efforts

Requirements


Graduate or equivalent preferred


Experience of using Salesforce or similar CRM system


Preferred working towards or having completed IMC, and/or CFA, or CAIA


1 year's experience at another Asset Manager and/or UK Intermediary/Wholesale experience is desirable but not essential


A self-starter, who works in a precise and timely manner, who can take ownership to move initiatives forward


Willingness to learn, collaborate, and partner across the business


A strong interest in asset management, financial services, and financial markets


Strong communication, both written and verbal skills, and presentation skills


Strongly numerate with a good working knowledge of Excel


Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint
