Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Band 5/6 Community Rehab Occupational Therapist to join our team at Robertson Neurological Rehabilitation Unit.

This is a specialist neurological rehabilitation service for patients with stroke and other neurological conditions.

The successful candidate will work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the MDT to ensure seamless care and discharge planning.
  • Supervise and appraise rehabilitation assistants to ensure effective delivery of care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist in a neurological rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
