Billings Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Billings Specialist to join our client's finance team in London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the company's credit control processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day credit control activities, including producing weekly debtor reports and reconciling movements.
- Negotiate payment plans and resolve billing issues with customers.
- Send invoices to clients and chase unpaid invoices in a timely manner.
- Liaise with customers to build strong relationships and resolve any issues.
- Maintain the UK sales ledger and ensure all bookings are posted on time.
- Forecast customer receipts for cash flow management.
- Contribute to improving existing systems and processes to enhance credit control and AR processes.
- Assist with customer reconciliations and prepare sales ledger information for audit.
- Own the customer invoicing process for the UK entity.
- Experience with proforma invoices and customer deposits is advantageous.
- Help ensure upstream processes are completed to streamline the invoicing process.
- Allocate payments from customers accurately and on time.
- Manage the shared inbox for customer billing enquiries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and understand variances.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- AAT or similar qualification.
- Understanding of international banking, including intermediary bank fees and foreign currency.
- NetSuite and SalesForce experience is advantageous.
- Experience with WIP is advantageous.
- Understanding of UK VAT from a sales perspective.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide industry-leading customer service.
