Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at Sainsbury's. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to provide exceptional customer service and support our store operations.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our customers across the store, providing assistance with shopping queries, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless store operations and contribute to achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Support store operations, including replenishing shelves, managing stock, and maintaining store appearance.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with new products and promotions.
Requirements:
  • Able to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
