About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging activities for children aged 0-5 years, tailored to their individual needs and developmental milestones.

You will work closely with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment, promoting child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality educational programs for children, incorporating a range of activities and resources.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to child protection, health, and safety.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
