Psychology Teacher Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Psychology teacher to join our faculty at Wayman Learning Trust, a comprehensive school in London. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.

About the Role:

  • Design and deliver engaging and informative Psychology lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum, fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that cultivates critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
  • Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of psychological concepts, theories, and research methods, preparing them for success in external examinations (GCSE A-Level as applicable).
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Social Sciences department and contribute to school-wide events, excelling in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Psychology or a closely related subject, demonstrating a strong passion for Psychology and a captivating teaching style.
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students, holding a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
