Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Liverpool, Merseyside. As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide personalised support plans to service users with learning disabilities, enabling them to develop the skills to live a fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise and support service users to maximise their self-care and independent living skills.
  • Promote the service user's self-esteem and enable them to express their preferences and make choices and decisions.
  • Support service users in budgeting and managing their finances.
  • Work flexibly according to the needs of the service.
  • Encourage service users to identify their strengths and interests and support them in accessing social, leisure, education, and work activities.

You will work as part of a dedicated team to provide practical, emotional, and behavioural support to individuals with learning disabilities. Experience is essential for this role, and training will be provided.

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country and provides information on the service and shifts.

You will be paid on a weekly basis.
