Respiratory Consultant Physician

Job Description:

As a Respiratory Consultant Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of the Respiratory service delivery. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including specialty trainees and specialist nurses, to ensure seamless care for our patients.

You will be involved in providing an in-reach service for the 42-bedded Acute Medicine Unit, ensuring early review of patients with respiratory failure, respiratory tract infections, and pleural effusions. You will also have the opportunity to lead and develop pathways, such as pleural effusions, suspected pulmonary embolism, and the National Optimal Lung Cancer Pathway.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced respiratory consultant to take on a key role in shaping the future of our Respiratory service and making a real difference to patient care and outcomes.
