Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join our Global Planning Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide support to the Global Planner and act as the main communication bridge between the Sales team and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking site system for errors and updating when required
- Managing deliveries and monitoring stock levels, liaising with internal teams for any stock issues or requirements
- Analysing data and compiling information for senior management reports
- Communicating seasonal launch plans and dates with other departments to ensure preparation and smooth launch operation
- Analysing stock keeping units and advising on plans to maximise sales opportunities
- Monitoring sales trends and brand awareness, communicating this information regularly throughout the business
- Attending departmental meetings via Teams with Global Head Office
- Providing ad-hoc administration support to ensure the smooth operation of the department
Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience in merchandising, trade, or brand administration with an element of supply chain
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and confident manner
