Future Woodlands Scotland Career Opportunities
3 weeks ago
Thank you for your interest in working with Future Woodlands Scotland.
We are a charity that was initially set up in 2012 to fund innovative thinking for trees and native woodlands in Scotland.
We've since branched out to launch a scheme to help farmers and landowners plant or restore native woodlands.
Our vision is a Scotland in which trees and native woodlands are thriving for our wildlife, communities and climate.
We are always looking to work with a diverse range of talent and would love to hear from people with an interest in becoming a trustee or potential partners to help us protect, enhance and extend the green and woodland spaces of Scotland.
Our values
We are unified by one vision and one set of values for the way we work: Curiosity, Respect, Collaboration, Professionalism.
Our values in action
- Be Curious. We ask questions, are interested and continue learning, whether this is for ourselves, with others in mind or being part of a wider world view.
- Be Respectful. We have regard for environmental and social beliefs, understanding that the range of views of others, no matter their age, status or background, are as important as our own.
- Work Collaboratively. We create dynamic joint working that recognises, applies and adapts around different processes, working relationships, opinions and skillsets.
- Be Professional. We ensure that our standards of work, dedication, attitude and communication reflect positively on our organisation.
