The role of Elevator Maintenance Specialist - IoT Integration at Otis involves working on the company's IoT project, which aims to connect elevators to a cloud ecosystem for a seamless experience. As part of this project, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing installations, repairs, and commissioning of Otis ONE products on Otis and non-Otis technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lift engineering principles and be able to apply them to achieve continuous lift operation. They will also have experience within the industry or a willingness to learn and work through their NVQ3. Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Completing installations of the Otis Digital Product range (Otis ONE Devices)
  • Completing repairs, installations, and commissioning of Otis ONE Products on Otis and non-Otis technologies
  • Working in a safe manner in accordance with all EH&S guidelines
  • Maintaining safety standards
  • Correctly fault-finding and completing essential repairs
  • Responsible for efficiency by utilizing the best tools and methods
  • Control planning and completion of own jobs

Key qualifications and skills required for the role include:

  • Be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3, J-Module or equivalent
  • Have in-depth knowledge of a variety of different makes of equipment
  • Have experience within the industry or a willingness to learn and work through your NVQ3

Estimated salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum

Location: Edinburgh and surrounding areas
