The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and developing our social media presence, contributing to the development, planning, and execution of social media content.

This role involves converting marketing objectives into actionable content plans; drafting, scheduling, and creating accompanying assets for all social media posts shared by the company. The successful candidate will also take responsibility for continuously measuring the performance of existing activities to see what works well, and what doesn't work so well, identifying areas of opportunity and keeping on top of new tools, ideas, and channels that could be implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy: Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Content Creation: Creating captivating content for social media sites, including writing blogs, articles, posts, and multimedia content.
  • Industry Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies.
  • Campaign Management: Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention to a brand.
  • Campaign Measurement: Setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring, and showing the Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Customer Engagement: Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments, and social media posts.

Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum

Required Skills:
  • Social Media Expertise: A keen interest and passion for everything social media.
  • Relevant Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar or relevant role.
  • Attention to Detail: Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Social Media Tools: In-depth understanding of social media tools and engagement metrics.
  • Campaign Planning: Experience planning the technical and strategic elements of social campaigns.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Independence: Self-motivated with ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Learner: Quick learner and able to structure thoughts and process information logically.
  • Familiarity with Social Media Platforms: 2+ years' experience using Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok, and Instagram is a must.
