Equine Veterinary Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic veterinary intern to join our team at Western Counties Equine Hospital, a leading equine hospital in the UK. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced team of veterinarians and nurses, gaining valuable hands-on experience in equine medicine and surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of equine patients
  • Participate in surgical and medical procedures
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Conduct lameness evaluations and objective gait analysis
  • Assist in the management of in-patient care and ambulatory work

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or eligibility to register
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for equine medicine and surgery
